About Me

I have been writing about literature, music, travel and religion since 1996, contributing articles, reviews and travelogues to numerous publications. My first novel is a work in progress. Currently assistant editor at a Montreal publishing house, I freelance for various magazines, companies and organizations, and recently edited a literary manuscript.

Inspiring my work as a writer, editor and teacher is an enduring passion for culture and the arts.

Having lived at the crossroads of East and West, Jerusalem and Montreal, I’ve experienced a diversity of sounds, scents, flavors and artistic forms of expression, all informing my consciousness and creative sensibilities. Jerusalem remains at my core; a mosaic of ethnicities, religions and cultures, where every stone, every tree and every grain of sand resonate a deep sense of history. I am now based in Montreal, a fascinating, multicultural, multi-ethnic city with its own singular history and heritage.

When not engaged with words, images, sounds or ideas, I practice the Chinese martial art of Kung Fu and healing art of Qi Gong.
